Seesaw Class & Seesaw Family
We will be using Seesaw class to upload student work each week. My goal is we work up to 1 reading post, 1 writing post and 1 math post each week. My hope is that your child becomes independent in these tasks, and you will be able to track their uploads using "Seesaw Family".
I will be specific in my expectations around assessment - letting you and your child know what I would like to see uploaded and by what date. I have been highlighting the activities I would like uploaded within the weekly schedule, which is on my "weekly lessons" page.
Below, I have uploaded my "writing goals" checklist. This is what I use when I have writing conferences with your child. We mark off things that were done well (consistently) and make notes of his/her next steps (or goals). You may have noticed that I am asking your child to work towards a writing goal in my comments on Seesaw. I have also made note of these goals in my binder. My hope is that students can upload future work that is evidence of their progress towards that specific set goal.
